He attended Maui High School, Maui Community College and Biola University before receiving his bachelor’s degree in Sociology. He later earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Hawaii, a master’s degree in apologetics from the Simon Greenleaf School of Law and a master’s degree in religion from Hawaii Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 2000.
