Serving Haiku Since 1955

Pastor Roland & Cindy Hara

Born and raised on Maui, Pastor Roland came to know about the gospel of Jesus Christ under the ministry of Hawaiian Island Missions at an early age. He attended Maui High School, Maui Community College and Biola University before receiving his bachelor’s degree in Sociology. He later earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Hawaii, a master’s degree in apologetics from the Simon Greenleaf School of Law and a master’s degree in religion from Hawaii Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 2000. He has been pastoring Haiku Bible Church since 1994.

  • Bowing Down

We desire to worship, praise, and glorify God through our services.

  • Building Up

We desire to provide consistent Bible teaching, fellowship, and prayer ministries.

  • Reaching Out

We desire to share the good news of the Gospel by word and deed, through our lips and our lives (Matthew 5:13-14, 28:19; Acts 1:8) and to share the love of God with all people whom we come into contact.

    John 13:35

Opportunities to Serve our Lord Jesus

We are looking for women and men to equip others for discipleship.

Child Care

Childcare is provided safely and lovingly to our infants and toddlers during Sunday morning worship service and most special events.

We provide small group opportunities for Bible study, time of prayer, and fellowship. We have a variety of small group topics which include but are not limited to the study of doctrine, determining one’s spiritual gift(s) and ministry, and sharing the gospel. Moreover, we have small group opportunities for men and women as well as occasional small group home meetings.

Missions/Outreach

We support endeavors to reach people for Christ both locally & abroad, and we encourage involvement in praying for and financially supporting our missionaries.

Special Seasonal Gatherings

During Easter and Christmas, we have combined services with Hope Chapel North Shore and Paipala Church.
